Hyundai Eon Impresses with Design And Efficiency

The Eon despite its tag as a small car does not disappoint you in terms of space. The frontal design with its large headlamps and fluidic design makes the Eon a far more different car than cars in the similar price bracket. The large front wheel arches and the waist lines that grow out of it improve the look of the Eon. The design is so eye catching that it makes other cars look quite aged.
Getting to the interior, we found the Eon does not compromise on quality or fitting. We found the plastics used on the dashboard to be of good quality. The feel of the materials used did not indicate we were sitting inside Hyundai's cheapest car ever. This is quite a plus for the Eon considering its closest competitor is the Alto. Further its air conditioner made our stay inside very pleasant.
The Eon is a small car no doubt and the seating capacity clearly shows that. The Eon is a comfortable drive for four adults. If you plan to have some one extra in the rear cabin, be ready for a squeeze. Further if you happen to be tall driver, you will be comfortable as the seat is adjustable. But if you push the seat too much, there is very little space for the person behind you. The luggage space is not a huge concern for a car this size. It can easily carry luggage for a two day trip.
We than moved to the all important part of our visit. The drive. The Eon is powered by a 800cc engine that generates 56bhp. Not much for a car but enough for the Eon. The generated power is routed to the rear wheel through a four speed manual gearbox. As we sat it we were able to appreciate the Eon's dashboard layout which was easy to look at and quite fashionable too.
