Most Anticipated Cars Of Auto Expo Revealed
While some of the cars and bikes on show will be updates to existing models, some of them will be entirely new models that will be making their Indian debuts. Lets start with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. This new MUV from the Indian carmaker is possibly the most radical shift for Maruti Suzuki. The carmaker which was once considered a specialist of small cars is moving towards bigger cars that started with the SX4. The Ertiga is a seven seater MUV that will compete against the likes of the Toyota Innova.
The Ertiga is expected to be priced between Rs.6 lakhs and Rs.9 lakhs. It will be available with both petrol and diesel engines paired with a manual gearbox. The price will ensure the Ertiga will be a very affordable car. The only question about the Ertiga is will it be successful or face the same fate as the Versa, Maruti Suzuki's first MUV.
The main competitors of the Ertiga will be Toyota Innova, Chevrolet Tavera, Tata Sumo, Mahindra Xylo and Tata Aria
