Another Car Burns Down; Now Its A Ferrari FF

Did you think only cheap cars burn down suddenly without any warning. Even super cars that cost upwards of a crore have also been reported to have caught fire. Recent reports from Germany show a Ferrari FF, the latest sports car launched by Ferrari in India has burnt down completely on the German Autobahns.

The FF is the most expensive Ferrari being sold in India. Costing well over Rs.3.5 crores, the FF is Ferrari's first four seater, four wheel drive car. The car is a new car in many ways for Ferrari as it developed its four wheel drive system in house. As in any new car, possibility of a breakdown or a fault is high. However, this instance of the FF burning completely to its frame has shocked Ferrari fans.

The FF was reportedly being driven by a 44 year old man on a test drive Ferrari has refused to comment on this fire accident. The driver has stated he heard a bang followed by smoke. He managed to safely park the FF before walking out. The sports car was engulfed in flames within minutes.

This is not the first time a new Ferrari has been reported to have burnt down. There were more than five reports of fires in the 458 Italia within three months of its launch. An FF in Netherlands is also reported to have broken down to a halt following a malfunctioning gearbox.
