KTM Unveils The 2016 Super Duke 1290 GT & Super Duke R Special Edition

KTM unveils the 1290 Super Duke GT and a 1290 Super Duke R Special Edition for 2016 at EICMA*.

KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT

The 2016 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT is equipped with a vast package of the latest riding assistance systems: Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC) including traction control and the C-ABS - both lean angle sensitive, KTM Ride Mode technology, and a quick shifter.

The 1290 Super Duke GT has good long distance capabilities and is offered with a comprehensive touring package: a 23 litre tank, a lengthened rear subframe with integral mounts for the optional panniers, heated grips, cruise control, comfortable seats, the wind and weather protection of an adjustable windshield, LED cornering lights and LED daytime running lights.

The performance is further enhanced with an engine that produces 173bhp, and a semi-active suspension, which allows comfortable long distance rides or track day use.
