Maruti Ertiga - From Concept To Production
The Ertiga has retained much of the look from its concept stage. The interior is smart and spacious. The coach doors seen in the RIII has been replaced by conventional doors. The Ertiga can pose a credible threat to the Toyota Innova if it offers the same levels of comfort as the Toyota MPV.

The Ertiga has been jointly developed by Maruti Suzuki and Suzuki. The car will also be sold across the globe branded as a Suzuki car but the production will remain in remain in India. It will be built at Maruti Suzuki's plant in Manesar and exported to several countries along with the A-Star hatchback.
The Ertiga will be a huge car for Maruti Suzuki. The carmaker which has lost some ground when it comes to market share is looking to expand its scope by launching an MPV and displaying a compact SUV. it wants to shed its image of being a specialist of small cars by building bigger cars that are being preferred by people with big families along with the promise of high fuel efficiency that the car maker is already famous for.
