Jaguar C-X17 Concept Crossover Face Leaked

In the age of the internet it is becoming ever harder for automakers to keep upcoming cars a secret. Take for example, the C-X17. This is the codename of the Jaguar SUV concept which the British company is set to unveil at the Frankfurt Auto Show next week.

Earlier this week Jaguar decided to share the news about the launch with a teaser image and a few words about the platform that underpins the new vehicle. But thanks to some enterprising internet users the face of the C-X17 concept has been revealed. The image first appeared on Carscoops and has since spread like wild fire.

The image, showing the front of the concept confirms that the C-X17 is infact the SUV that Jaguar spoke about earlier. The car is definitely not going to be an all out off-roader SUV like its Land Rover counterparts, but rather a compact one, like the Evoque.

The compact SUV is the first of a line of next-gen Jaguars that will be built on the flexible and "highly advanced, modular aluminium architecture." According to Jaguar, "the diversity of vehicles that could be produced using this architecture, underpins the innovative future of the Jaguar brand."
