Jaguar C-X17 Concept Teaser Hints At SUV Bound For Frankfurt
Last month Jaguar revealed its plan to launch an SUV product of its own. Today, the UK based automaker has released a teaser image of a concept vehicle, C-X17 that will be on display at the Frankfurt Auto Show in IAA starting from September 10th.
The teaser image, as you can see, mentions nothing about the concept apart from its code name, that is C-X17 and that it will receive a virtual launch on September 9th through Jaguar's Facebook page. But the white outline traced reveals a distinctly SUV/crossover ish design. Not to mention, it sits well with what Jaguar has told the world already.

The automaker says the C-X17 is a design study that will be the first one to make use of Jaguar's "highly advanced, modular aluminium architecture." The concept will to showcase the diversity of the said architecture that can used to develop a range of vehicles and will be the future of products bearing the Jaguar name.
As of now have we have no clear idea as to what Jaguar means by a diverse architecture, but what we can state is that production vehicles based on the new architecture, including the new SUV are likely to come in late 2015 or 2016.
