55 New Cars To Be Launched in 2012 Auto Expo

The Auto Expo which will start on 5th January will see the launch of 55 new cars. This is a huge number considering the Delhi show is not in the top ten auto shows of the world. The organisers of the show have confirmed the participation of several international car brands such as Porsche, Ferrari and Bugatti. While these brands will attract the people, the real business will happen in the entry level and mid level segments,
The year 2011 has not been able to relive the magic of 2010 with sales declining considerably. Carmakers are hoping new cars will be able to bring back buyers. The 2012 Auto Expo will showcase several new models that will be on sale soon or are on their way to an official launch.
The seven day event be held at the Delhi's Pragathi Maidan. SIAM, the representative body of INdian auto makers is one of the organisers of the show. The first two days of the show will be exclusively for the media and special invitees. The weekend starting from 7th January will be open for the general public followed by three trade days. Tickets for the event will be available at the venue. The ticket prices for the event are as follows:
Seasonal Ticket – Rs. 1500 / per person
Weekday Ticket Premium Hours (10 AM to 3 PM) – Rs. 500 / per person
Weekday General Hours (3 PM to 7 PM) – Rs. 150 / per person
Weekend Tickets – Rs. 200 / per person
