Yamaha India Plans To Introduce New 110cc Commuter Motorcycle
Yamaha currently offers a wide range of motorcycles in India. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer is not focussing on the large commuter segment available in India.
They have now decided to work on a new motorcycle that will compete with the likes of Hero MotoCorp and Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India. Yamaha will develop an all-new commuter motorcycle for India.
The Japanese manufacturer has decided to build its new commuter motorcycle using the engine from its YBR model. In terms of designing it will be more appealing than all of its competitors.
Yamaha's new 110cc commuter motorcycle will be powered by the following engine:
- Engine: 110cc, 4-stroke DOHC
- Horsepower: 7 bhp
- Torque: 8Nm
- Gearbox: 4-speed
- Cooling system: Air-cooled
Currently Yamaha offers the Crux, YBR 110 and YBR 125 among its affordable range. They plan on introducing a new 110cc commuter motorcycle that will propel their overall sales further.
Pricing will be vital for the success of this new commuter motorcycle. We believe Yamaha will provide a more feature rich product, which will be matched with a futuristic design to attract buyers.
