World's Fastest Bike Y2K Set For India
Superbike fans rejoice! The world's fastest production bike, the MTT Y2K is on its way to India. The Y2K Streetfighter is reportedly being prepared for a launch in India making India one of the select few markets where the super bike will be sold.
The Y2K is a product form US based from Marine Turbine Technology. The Y2k is powered by a Rolls-Royce turbine engine that is used to power helicopters. Quite naturally, the Y2K has access to huge amounts of power.
MTT has made modifications to the Rolls Royce-Allison gas turbine engine's design to suit the motorcycle layout. The engine can generate an incredible 320bhp of power and 425 lb/ft of torque. The Y2K can hit a top speed of 227mph or 363kmph.
As if 320bhp was not enough, MTT tuned the gas turbine engine to deliver a mind numbing 420bhp of power. Such power can take the Y2K Streetfighter to a mad top speed of 402kmph.
The Y2K Streetfighter has a larger swing arm, Pirelli Diablo 240 rear tire, increased fuel capacity, and enhanced cooling system. The Turbine Streetfighter is one bike that you should never follow. The exhaust coming out of it is said to be so hot that it can melt the bumper of a car behind it.
