TVS Racing Announces Collaboration With Alisha Abdullah Racing Academy
TVS Racing has announced a collaboration with Alisha Abdullah Racing Academy for Women, which is the first training school for women racers in India. TVS Racing will support the academy with technical expertise and motorcycles.
Also, the academy has shortlisted 18 women riders who will race for TVS in the first year. The 18 entries were shortlisted after 80 women showed interest and cleared various tests. These riders are now being trained to improve physical fitness and improve their racing skills in a rented test track in Chennai.
Alisha Abdullah, the founder of the racing academy said, "We are proud to be associated with TVS Racing as it is India's most professional two-wheeler racing team with the best motorbikes and trainers."
"This association will help the academy develop the best talent among women racers as they get exclusive access to best in class machines, racers and technology. I also hope our racing academy attracts and encourages more women racers to get into motorsports in India."
