TVS Motors Receives Nod For Mysore Facility Expansion
TVS Motors has received a nod to expand its Mysore facility from the Bangalore Government. The Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer will be investing approximately Rs. 310 crore. It will also help in job generation for several citizens of Bangalore.
As of now, TVS Motors has three manufacturing facilities across the country. They have one facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu followed by Mysore, Karnataka, and Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh. One international manufacturing unit also exists in Karawang, Indonesia.
Overall TVS Motors boasts of an annual production of over three million models per year. They have a wide range of products for Indian as well as international markets. The Chennai-based manufacturer offers mopeds, scooters, motorcycles, and even three-wheeled autorickshaws.
Recently, TVS Motors launched its all-new Apache RTR 200 4V model in the Indian market. The expansion of their Mysore manufacturing unit will help boost production and will attempt to eliminate waiting periods. Several other new two-wheelers are expected to launch in India by TVS in the coming future.
