Suzuki Swish 125 Updated To Counter Activa 125
Suzuki Motorcycle India has silently updated its Swish 125cc automatic scooter to better enable it counter the inevitable surge of the recently launched Activa 125.
Suzuki Swish is the closest competitor to the Activa 125 in terms of performance and design. While powered by the same engine as the Access, the Swish has a smarter looking design that appeals better to younger buyers.

Changes to the refreshed Suzuki Swish comes in the form of new dual-tone body graphics selections and an restyled instrument panel. The new cluster is more colourful and sporty compared to the dull look of the Access.
Colours offered include: Glass Sparkle Black, Candy Antares Red/Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Sonic Silver/Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Glacier White and Metallic Triton Blue/ Glass Sparkle Black.

Besides the cosmetic changes, the updated Swish remains unchanged. The engine continues to be the 124cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that produces 8.58 horsepower at 7000 rpm and 9.8 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm.
A couple of key features of the scooter, such as the 110 kg kerb weight, the 20-litre underseat storage space, the CVT transmission and telescopic suspension system continue to be offered unchanged.
Notably, braking continues to be provided by 120mm drum brakes at both ends, which is inferior to the 130mm drums in the standard Activa 125, which is augmented by Honda's Combined Braking System.
Nevertheless, Suzuki Swish is priced at Rs 59,350 which is significantly lower than the Rs 64,326 price tag of the Activa 125 (prices, on-road Bangalore).
