Suzuki Gixxer Bookings Open; Launch Likely In July
Unveiled right before the Auto Expo in February, along with the Let's scooter, Suzuki Gixxer 150's launch nears. The bike was expected to hit the roads in July and it looks like it Suzuki will stick to its launch schedule.
Meanwhile, dealerships have began accepting bookings for the Suzuki new 150cc premium commuter motorcycle.
The Gixxer is a stylish looking 150cc motorcycle that will be primarily targeted at young crowds. Specifications of the motorcycle have still been kept under wraps, but we do know that the Gixxer's engine incorporates the new Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP), which has already made its debut in the Let's.
SEP cannot be called a technology. Instead, it is a set of improvements made to the engine to reduce mechanical losses and thus improve efficiency. Suzuki thus claims that the Gixxer will be the most fuel efficient motorcycle in its segment.
A segment that consists of the high selling Bajaj Pulsar and the popular Yamaha FZ. The Gixxer brings to the game, a few standout features to attract potential buyers. This includes the large, all-digital information display, a rear mono-shock suspension, a sporty twin-outlet exhaust and wide 140/60 rear tyre.
Expect the Suzuki Gixxer to be priced similar to competition.
