MV Agusta Debut At WSBK Confirmed
Giacomo Agostini won his world championship with MV Agusta almost 37 years ago. However, The Italian manufacturer of one of the most good looking superbikes, is set to rejoin top level racing in WSBK
MV Agusta has 38 manufactures' title and 37 riders' championship. It has confirmed it's participation in the upcoming WSBK championship in collaboration with Yakhnich Motorsport. The Italian manufacturer witnessed podiums in WSS with ParkinGo in 2013.
Giovanni Castiglioni, MV Agusta president, explains their official return is an ambitious and important move for the Iconic Italian brand. Racing has always been their greatest passions and drove the brand to numerous victories.
2014, will witness MV Agusta competing in both WSBK and World Supersport series, which was won by Yakhnich in their second year on Yamaha machinery.

Yakhnich Motorsport president, Alexander Yakhnich explains "We worked very hard to achieve the great results of 2013. The partnership with MV Agusta opens a whole new set of opportunities, we are truly happy of the agreement and we look forward to further success."
‘Yakhnich Motorsport Reparto Corse', rider line-up for 2014 is Vladimir Leonov and Jules Cluzel will compete in the WSS. Claudio Corti, former MotoGP CRT rider for NGM Mobile Forward Racing team, will be onboard MV Agusta's WSBK campaign.
"I am convinced of the potential of our team and very pleased that we are making this announcement today, the date of my father's birthday, who had always dreamed of taking MV Agusta back racing at the highest level of the World Championship." says Giovanni Castiglioni.
