Bike Festival Of India Announced By MS Dhoni ; To Be Held In October
With just a week left for the start of the 2014 edition of India Bike Week, at present India's only carnival dedicated to motorcycles, enthusiasts in India will be delighted to know that captain of the Indian cricket team, MS Dhoni has announced a second one, the Bike Festival of India.
The Bike Festival of India (BFI), besides being an event for all biking enthusiasts from in and around the country will also focus on "safe biking". In this regard a special national rally, called "Safety Ride" is being organised.
The ride, which starts in February, will also serve as a promotional event, as it will cover every state in the country. The organizers will also look to set a new Guinness World Record at the same time.
In addition to the Safety Ride, BFI will also organise a racing championship at the Buddh International Circuit in March, which will be followed by a Motocross Championship and a TSD Rally Championship, which is a form of off-road endurance racing.
The annual Bike Festival of India is being organised by event management company Event Capital and Rhiti Sports, a celebrity management company run by MS Dhoni's friend. The organizers aim to make BFI the largest motorcycle festival in South East Asia.
The first edition of Bike Festival of India will be held in October.
