Kawasaki Z250 To Be Equipped With ABS & Slipper Clutch For 2015
Japanese two-wheeler giant Kawasaki has launched a wide range of products globally in 2014. They will be following it up with more interesting products in 2015 as well. The manufacturer had recently launched its ER-6n and Z250 motorcycle together in India.
Kawasaki has promised that it will provide its naked motorcycle with ABS and a slipper clutch. These will be added as upgrades to the 2015 motorcycle. It will be primarily offered to Z250 in Japan and will be then followed in other markets.
The baby Z motorcycle sports a parallel twin 249cc engine, which is liquid cooled. It produces 31.5 bhp, along with 21 Nm of peak torque and is paired to a smooth 6-speed gearbox. Kawasaki engineers have down tuned their Ninja 300 engine to power their Z250.
The Z250 on sale in India comes without ABS and slipper clutch, however, its Ninja 300 is offered with slipper clutch and no ABS. The ABS as a safety option is a welcomed one and a must have in todays time. Both motorcycles are priced expensively and there is minor difference between both.
The Japanese manufacturer has priced its Z250 at INR 2,99,000 ex-showroom, Delhi. Their Ninja 300 on the other hand is priced higher at INR 3,60,916 ex-showroom, Delhi. This price difference is expected to shrink once the baby Z the new updates.
Kawasaki India is showing great confidence in the nation. They recently announced that they will offer only five Ninja H2. The Japanese manufacturer has priced this motorcycle at INR 32,80,000 on road in Pune. Kawasaki will be introducing more products in 2015.
