Kawasaki Z250 Street Fighter Launched In Indonesia
Kawasaki, the Japanese sports motorcycle specialist has launched a new 250cc motorcycle called Kawasaki Z250 Street Fighter In Indonesia. This new Kawasaki sports bike has been inspired from the much more powerful Z800.
The 2013 Kawasaki Z250 Street Fighter is powered by a 250ccc twin cylinder engine that we have already seen in the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250R. The engine is mated to a six speed manual gearbox. Kawasaki is yet to reveal the power and torque figures of the bike. Since it is the same engine as in the Ninja 250R, the power could be about 33bhp with the torque figure being around 22Nm.
Kawasaki is said to tuned the Z250 Street Fighter's engine to deliver a little bit more torque than the Ninja. Kawasaki has worked on the engine's performance to suit the Street Fighter's character. This motorcycle has borrowed not only the engine from the Ninja but more.
Kawasaki has used several parts from the Ninja 250R in the 250X Street Fighter. The body frame, telescopic front forks and the monoshock rear suspension are all from the Ninja. This means the Kawasaki Z250 Street Fighter is more like an unfaired and re-styled version of the Ninja 250R.
Kawasaki has launched the Z250 Street fighter in Indonesia priced at $5,000. It will be available in three colours - white, red and black. This bike is being built in Thailand and could as well make its way to India.
