Kawasaki Ninja 300 Launch On April 10th
Kawasaki's next iteration of the quarter liter bike, the Ninja 300 will reportedly arrive[Update: Confirmed] as soon as April 10 or in a fortnight's time, according to Autocar India. The Ninja 300, which will replace the Ninja 250R was announced in September last year.
Kawasaki sells its bikes in India through Bajaj pro-biking dealerships. The new Ninja, with its super sports styling is sure to kick up a storm soon after its launch. The Ninja 300 takes its styling cues from the ZX-10R and comes with several upgrades over the outgoing model.


The Ninja 300 will be powered by a 296cc, four stroke, parallel twin, liquid cooled engine that will deliver 39 BHP at 11,000 rpm and a peak torque of 2.8 gkm at 10,000 rpm.

Power will be transferred to the now larger tyres via a six speed gearbox that boosts of slipper clutch, a feature found in higher end motorcycles that facilitate aggressive downshifts.

Some of the striking new features include the new dual headlamps and the larger air vents, which come with a radiator fan for more effective heat management.

The Ninja 300 is a modern looking bike, which replaces the analog instrument panel from its predecessor with a digital speedometer and redesigned analog rev meter.

Another noticeable feature is the large floating wind shield.

The Ninja 300 will come with 37mm telescopic front suspension and a monoshock on the rear, while braking will be provided through 290mm Nissin discs on the front and 220mm units on the rear.
