Kawasaki India Launch Versys 1000: Price, Specs, Features & More
Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Kawasaki has launched several new products in India. They recently launched their ER-6n and Z 250 motorcycle for India. Kawasaki India has followed it up with their launch of Versys 1000.
During last month Kawasaki dealers across India commenced bookings of the Versys 1000. It belongs to the adventure category of motorcycles, which is slowly growing in India. The Versys 1000 has been introduced in India relatively sooner as it was recently debuted globally.

Kawasaki India has priced its Versys 1000 at INR 12,90,000 ex-showroom, Pune.
Kawasaki Versys 1000 Specifications:
The Versys 1000 by Kawasaki sports an in-line 4-cylinder 1043 cc liquid-cooled engine. It produces a maximum power output of 120 bhp, along with 102 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and powers the rear wheel through a traditional chain drive.
The Adventure tourer gets dual discs upfront with four piston callipers to provide immediate braking. The rear gets a single piston calliper brake to aid stopping. The Versys 1000 sports KYB inverted front forks with adjustable rebound. Kawasaki have provided a horizontal back-link shock that is fully adjustable via a remote adjuster.
Kawasaki Versys 1000 Design:
It is a semi faired motorcycle with large windscreen upfront. This will help from wind blasts on long journeys. Rider and pillion seat have been optimised for comfort. It gets dual headlights, which portray the Kawasaki family design.
The adventure tourer motorcycle from Kawasaki will compete head on with Triumph's Tiger Explorer and DSK Benelli's adventure tourer that will be launched soon. The Versys 1000 by Kawasaki has been well built and fit and finish is top notch.
