Kawasaki ER-6n And Versys 1000; India Launch Soon
India Kawasaki Motors (IKM), recently launched the Ninja ZX-14R, Ninja ZX-10R, which were followed by Ninja 1000 and Z1000. The Z800 is soon to come in January 2014. However, these are not the only offering.
The Japanese manufacturer will be showcasing its adventure bike the Versys 1000. Along with the ER-6n, which is the naked version of the Ninja 650, available in India.
The Versys 1000 is an adventure bike from Kawasaki, designed for trouble free riding, no matter what road is thrown in its way. The bike is powered by an in-line-four, four-stroke 1,043cc engine. Maximum power of 118bhp is generated, while peak torque is 10.4kgm.

The Versys 1000 has an aluminium twin-tube frame with 43mm inverted forks up front, while a horizontal suspension does its job at the rear.
Kawasaki ER-6n is a naked street bike, and is designed for city riding. While its faired sibling is a sport-tourer. The bike has a four-stroke, parallel-twin, 649cc engine. The engine generates 72 bhp and 6.5 kgm of torque.

The ER-6n has a perimeter high-tensile frame. Riding is made comfortable with 41mm telescopic front forks, along with a preload adjustable single rear shock.
Both these bikes will be seen in Pune showrooms by 2014. January 2014- June 2014 is when we expect the Versys to surface. The ER-6n, however will be around during July 2014.
