India Superbike Festival 2014 In Bangalore's Phoenix MarketCity Mall
India Superbike Festival, one of the most popular motorcycling events in the country that provides an excellent opportunity for owners and enthusiasts to gather and share their love for all things two wheeled is back.
The third edition of India Superbike Festival will be held in the southern city of Bangalore this time, at the Phoenix MarketCity mall. The event will be held on May 10th and 11th.
The previous edition of India Superbike Festival was held in Pune which saw a record 500 bikers participate in it. Visitors got to see high capacity, high performance bikes of over 600cc from a wide variety of manufacturers in a single place.
Motorcycles of almost every make, ranging from Harley Davidsons, Honda Goldwings and Valkyries, to Suzuki Intruders and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10Rs to Ducatis, BMWs and Aprilias were present at the event.
Besides shiny new bikes another major attraction were vintage rides, some of which were a century old.
Besides bikes displayed by manufacturers, stalls selling riding gear, accessories and more, the festival also hosted several competitions and events to attract visitors.
Burnouts and loudest bike contests, freestyle motorcycle stunts, Supercross events with dirt and MX bikes thrilled enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike.
This year's edition of the India Superbike Festival in Bangalore is expected to be even grander and bigger success considering the city is home to a huge number of high-end rides.
"The idea of the India Superbike Festival is to get bikers together to give them a platform to display what they own," says Amol Talpade, one of the organisers of the festival. And when you do that, you also meet like-minded individuals and share riding experiences.
