Hyosung Aquila Pro GV 650R Launched
DSK, the Indian partner of Hyosung Motorcycles has launched the new Aquila Pro GV 650R cruise bike in India priced at Rs.4.99 lakhs. Another new Hyosung motorcycle has been launched along with the Aquila and it is the facelifted GT Pro 650R sports bike which is now priced at Rs.4.69 lakhs.
We are now familiar with the GT 650R and have been very curious about Hyosung's new cruise bike. Bookings for both the new bikes are open in DSK showrooms.
The Aquila name is not new to Indian high-end motorcycle buyers. Kinetic was importing the Aquila 250R cruise bikes more than a decade ago and Aquila is now back with a bigger more powerful engine. The new Aquila Pro GV 650R is also the most inexpensive twin cylinder cruise bike in the market.

New Cruise Bike
The Hyosung Pro GV 650R is powered by the same 650cc twin cylinder engine found in the GT 650R. The engine can churn out peak power of 74bhp at 9000rpm and the maximum torque output is 62.1Nm at 7500rpm.

New Cruise Bike
Such power and torque can take the Hyosung Aquila Pro GV 650R to a top speed of 192kmph.

New Cruise Bike
The 2013 Hyosung Aquila Pro GV650 cruise bike's engine is mated with a five speed manual gearbox.

New Cruise Bike
One of the notable features of the new Aquila is the belt drive that powers the rear wheels. Belt drives have been used extensively in Harley Davidson motorcycles and no other bikes sold in India have them.

New Cruise Bike
Hyosung is said top be planning to launch the Aquila in a powered down 250cc version too. The Aquila GV 250R is expected to be launched in some time and its price should be well under Rs.3 lakhs.

New Facelift
Hyosung has updated its GT 650R super bike. The new GT gets revised styling, redesigned headlight, new air dams and console.

New Facelift
Hyosung has not made major changes to the technical details and has retained the 650cc liquid cooled twin cylinder engine.

New Facelift
The ECU has been modified to deliver better low and mid range performance.

New Facelift
In another positive development, DSK will be assembling the GT 650R in India using kits imported from South Korea. This has helped reduce the super bikes price to RS.4.79 lakhs from the previous price of Rs.5.09 lakhs.
