Honda Boosts Scooter Mileage To 60kmpl

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India, the leading manufacturer of automatic scooters in India has refreshed its line-up of scooters. Honda's new scooters get several updates but the most notable one is the Honda-Eco-Technology which will help improve their mileage to an impressive 60kmpl.

All three Honda scooters are powered by the same 110cc single cylinder petrol engine. Honda has improved combustion, has used low friction engine internals while also optimising the CVT gearbox to reduce fuel consumption without compromising performance. Honda's scooters have been appreciated for their mileage and reliability. With this improved mileage, Honda is bound to increase its market share in the scooter segment.

The 60kmpl mileage is not the only new attraction in the new Honda scooters. Honda has added new colours to the Aviator and Dio. The Aviator will now be available in Metallic Royal Gold along with the current list of colours. The Dio's list of paint colours gets the new Pearl Yellow colour. There are no new colours for the best selling Activa scooter.

Coming in to the pricing of Honda's refreshed new scooters, the Honda Dio continues to be the most affordable among the three Honda scooters with a starting price of Rs.44,701. The Activa's price will now begin from Rs.47,188. The Aviator will be available in two trims with the standard variant costing Rs.48,212. The Aviator deluxe with its front disk brakes is priced at Rs.53,531 (All the above prices are ex-showroom- New Delhi).
