Harley Davidson Electric Motorcycle At Avengers: Age Of Ultron Set
Harley Davidson and the fictional hero Captain America are synonymous with each other. The relationship has been carried forward in Marvel's recent movies as well, with the new HD Street 750 having playing a major role in the last Captain America movie.
Now, spy shots coming from the sets of the next Avengers movie, captured by Daily Mail's photographers, sheds light on a new Harley Davidson. But this one is more exciting than the Street 750 because, from the looks of it, it seems to be an electric motorcycle.
This does not come as a total surprise actually because Harley COO Matthew Levatich had said last year during the company's 110th anniversary celebrations at Milwaukee that it was contemplating building electric motorcycles.

"I am sometimes asked... whether there will be an electric Harley," Levatich had said. "People would say ‘hell no'. But why not: our engineers are quite intrigued with the idea of what an electric Harley would look like, sound like and feel like. And would it be visceral, would it be emotional, would it be luscious. And there's a way to do that I believe, and it would be very exciting."
The motorcycle seen in these images has a missing clutch lever. The drive chain is also not seen, which could mean the motorcycle either has a wheel hub mounted electric motor or the drive chain is unconventionally positioned on the other side.
There's at least no motor seen in the front wheel, so we know the motorcycle is only rear wheel driven.

Interestingly, the extremely well designed electric drivetrain enclosure and the overall ‘production-ready' look of the motorcycle makes us believe it is real model (and not a one-off merely made for the movie) that could make its debut in the movie - set to be released next year - at least in pre-production form.
We'll keep our eyes and ears open for more updates regarding the matter.
