Campagna Motors New T-REX-16S Trike Is BMW Powered

Campagna Motors, the Quebec, Canada based automaker is known for its motorcycle engine powered trikes - T-REX 14 R, T-REX 14RR and V13R. Now, there is a third T-REX that has joined the gang. It is the T-REX-16S.

While the V13R is powered a Harley Davidson Liquid-cooled Revolution 60-degree V-Twin engine from the HD V-Rod and the other T-REXes get their power from Kawasaki 1400 cc inline four cylinder engines, the newest T-REX, has a 1649 cc inline 6-cylinder as its heart, sourced from BMW Motorrad. Power delivered is 160 hp at 7,750 rpm and 129 lb-ft of torque at 5,250 rpm. A six-speed sequential transmission delivers power to the single rear wheel.
