Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Launching Soon In India
India has been patiently waiting for a new Pulsar to be launched from the stables of Bajaj Auto. There was confusion as to which of their models would be introduced. They have now confirmed through their fanpage that the upcoming launch will be of a Pulsar RS 200.
Bajaj had launched its 200 NS a while ago and ever since then there has been talks of a full-faired motorcycle. The RS 200 is exactly that and has been showcased in several avatars of recent.
The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer was rumoured to name its fully-faired motorcycles as SS models. It seems as they have decided to drop the SS prefix and have opted for RS. As always Bajaj once again claims that this is their fastest Pulsar till date.
RS 200 by Bajaj is expected to sport the same engine that powers its naked sibling. The manufacturer is expected to re-tune the engine and extract a few additional horses. Exact details will be provided at a date closer to launch.
In terms of pricing we are sure that Bajaj can never go wrong on that. We expect Pulsar RS 200 to be produced roughly INR 25,000 to INR 30,000 more than 200 NS. Bajaj's first fully faired motorcycle will have to compete with the sporty Yamaha R15 and Honda's CBR 150R.
Bajaj has surely learnt a lot in the past couple of years being with KTM. We can surely expect something interesting on RS 200 from the manufacturer. We would like you to tell us in the comment section as to how much would you be willing to pay for Pulsar RS 200 and does it stand a chance against the Japanese motorcycles?
