Ultraviolette X47 Venom Launched At Rs 2.65 Lakh - New VX-100 Platform, 343km Range

The Ultraviolette X47 Venom has been launched in India at Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom). It's the first motorcycle on the brand's new VX-100 platform and claims an IDC range of 343 km. That price is introductory and applies to the first 5,000 customers. Bookings opened at 4 pm today (October 22), with deliveries starting in November 2026.

Ultraviolette X47 Venom - Battery, Motor and Performance

The Ultraviolette X47 Venom's SRB-11 battery pack offers 11 kWh of usable capacity. The motor makes 39.5 bhp (30 kW) and 550 Nm of torque at the wheel. Top speed is claimed at 155 km/h, and 0-100 km/h takes 5.9 seconds.

At 180 kg, the Ultraviolette X47 Venom is 20 kg lighter than before. The battery pack is 15 per cent lighter and claimed to be 25 per cent more energy-dense, while axial cooling replaces the radial arrangement and doubles cooling performance.

DC fast charging goes up to 12 kW. Ballistic mode now works until the battery falls to 10 per cent, and regenerative braking is available from the start instead of only below a 90 per cent charge level.

The Light Fury motor spins at up to 9,000 rpm and uses soft magnetic components. Rare-earth metal use is down 50 per cent and motor weight is down 25-30 per cent, with power output maintained or improved. The motor controller is twice as compact and 40 per cent lighter than the current-generation unit. The VX-100 is a 100V platform, and Ultraviolette says it will also support future products.

Ultraviolette X47 Venom - Safety, Features and Colours

A pyro-fuse isolates the battery circuit within microseconds if a critical fault is detected. It works alongside the battery management system and cell-level fuses, and the battery enclosure has IP67 protection against dust and water ingress.

UV Hypersense uses a 77 GHz rear radar with a claimed monitoring range of up to 200 metres. It enables blind-spot monitoring, lane change assist, overtake alert and rear collision warning, and the hazard lights activate when a threat is detected from behind.

The Ultraviolette X47 Venom gets a 7-inch TFT touchscreen with front and rear cameras. Mappls navigation, rear-camera park assist, cruise control and software updates are also on offer, along with VIOLETTE AI alerts for movement, falls, towing and crashes.

Colour options are Afterburner Yellow, Turbo Red, Cosmic Black and Stellar White. Ultraviolette also announced the reusable B-MAX safety vest, which claims 86 per cent force attenuation and can be reused up to five times. Extendable warranty coverage is promised up to 8,00,000 km.
