Ultraviolette Tesseract Electric Scooter Launch Expected By Mid 2026

Ultraviolette Automotive is all set to launch its much-awaited Ultraviolette Tesseract, a performance-focused electric scooter, by June 2026. This upcoming EV was earlier showcased at the EICMA 2025, generating significant interest among enthusiasts.

Ultraviolette Tesseract EV Launch Expected Soon

The Bengaluru-based startup is preparing to expand its product lineup beyond performance motorcycles with this new electric scooter. The Tesseract was initially unveiled in 2025 with a starting price of ₹1.45 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it in the premium electric scooter segment.

Performance and Battery Options

The Ultraviolette Tesseract is expected to deliver performance equivalent to a 200cc scooter, with a claimed power output of around 20 bhp. It can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, highlighting its performance-oriented nature.

The scooter will be offered with three battery pack options-3.5 kWh, 5 kWh, and 6 kWh. The base 3.5 kWh variant is expected to deliver a range of up to 162 km, while the mid-spec 5 kWh version offers around 220 km. The top-end 6 kWh variant is claimed to provide a maximum range of up to 261 km on a single charge.

Features and Technology

The Tesseract comes loaded with advanced features, including LED projector headlamps, floating DRLs, and a large TFT touchscreen display with smartphone connectivity. Additional features include navigation, music control, and ride analytics, enhancing the overall user experience.

Safety and Practicality

In terms of safety, the scooter is expected to feature a front radar system, rear radar, ARAS 360-degree awareness, smart dashcam, and Ultraviolette's Omnisense mirrors. These features aim to provide enhanced situational awareness and rider safety.

The scooter also offers a generous 34-litre under-seat storage, making it practical for daily use. Riders will also benefit from features like traction control and multiple levels of dynamic regenerative braking.

Booking and Colours

Bookings for the Tesseract are open with a token amount of ₹5,000. The scooter will be available in four colour options-Desert Sand, Sonic Pink, Solar White, and Stealth Black. With its blend of performance, range, and advanced technology, the Ultraviolette Tesseract is expected to be one of the most exciting electric scooter launches in India this year.
