Ultraviolette Riding Academy Opens To EV And ICE Riders - Hone Your Offroading & Track Skills

Ultraviolette has launched a new riding academy in India that offers structured track and off-road training for both electric and internal-combustion motorcycle riders. The academy brings the company's existing Track Attack and Into the Wild programmes under one platform.

The programmes are open to riders regardless of the motorcycle brand or powertrain they use. Ultraviolette will provide the training and certification, but riders using ICE motorcycles will need to bring their own motorcycles.

Ultraviolette Riding Academy Gets Three Certification Levels

Track Attack and Into the Wild will each follow a three-level certification structure. Riders will need to complete an assessment before moving to the next level, with the programme combining classroom instruction and practical training at controlled riding locations.

Level 1 focuses on fundamental riding techniques, motorcycle control and safety. Level 2 introduces greater technical complexity, while Level 3 is aimed at advanced riding techniques and higher-intensity sessions specific to track or off-road riding.

Track Attack is the circuit-focused programme and covers racing lines, braking points, corner entry and exit, throttle control, body positioning, acceleration and track positioning. The training also includes overtaking awareness, flag protocols, protective equipment, motorcycle checks and circuit awareness.

Into the Wild is focused on riding across loose and uneven terrain. Its curriculum covers body positioning, balance, throttle and brake control, off-road cornering, terrain assessment, obstacle navigation, motorcycle recovery and responsible trail riding.

The two programmes remain separate in terms of riding discipline, but both use the same three-level training and certification structure. The programmes were originally developed around Ultraviolette motorcycles, including the F77 and X-47, before being opened to riders using motorcycles from other manufacturers.

Ultraviolette Riding Academy Schedule

Ultraviolette plans to conduct the riding academy throughout the year at a growing network of racetracks and off-road locations across India. The first Level 1 Into the Wild session happened in Bengaluru on August 23rd and it will be followed by a Track Attack session on September 27.

The company says the academy is designed to develop motorcycle control, technical ability, safety awareness and riding judgement progressively. Ultraviolette also claims that the academy is the first structured riding programme from an electric two-wheeler manufacturer to offer both track and off-road training and certification.

Narayan Subramaniam , CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said: "Track and off-road riding are distinct, yet both demand control, precision, judgement, and a deep understanding of the machine. With Track Attack and Into the Wild, we bring these disciplines together into a structured rider development platform, offering a clear pathway to progressively build skills, whether on the racetrack or across challenging terrain.

At Ultraviolette, performance engineering is core to our DNA. With the F99 - India's fastest motorcycle, we've pushed the boundaries of electric performance. This certified training program marks our first step towards building the future of electric motorsports in India."

The riding academy expands Ultraviolette's involvement in performance riding beyond its own motorcycles. Its existing F77 range includes the F77 Mach 2 and F77 SuperStreet, with the Mach 2 producing 30kW of peak power, 100Nm of torque and a claimed top speed of 155km/h.

Ultraviolette's F99 is the company's factory racing platform. The motorcycle has a claimed top speed of 258km/h and a sprinted across the quarter-mile record in just 10.712 seconds, with the latter certified by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).
