Ultraviolette Partners With Bolt.Earth To Expand Fast Charging Network Across India
Indian EV startup Ultraviolette has joined hands with Bolt. Earth to establish fast charging networks across India. The Bengaluru-based startup has announced this strategic collaboration to accelerate the installation of the Type-6 DC charging network.
The electric two-wheeler market is growing rapidly, especially in urban areas. There are also many charging stations and service centres in these places. To expand them to other parts, many manufacturers are building new EV infrastructures to help customers access these points seamlessly.

Ultraviolette Partners with Bolt.Earth For Charging
Ultraviolette, being one of the top performance-oriented EV manufacturers, has now joined with Bolt. Earth to accelerate the DC charging network. Currently, the manufacturer is selling the F77 and the X47 crossover.
The Type-6 Charging is for electric vehicles and is often mentioned as the national standard for light EV DC charging. This Type-6 charger supports a wide spectrum of vehicles, including e-bikes, mopeds, scooters, motorcycles, delivery vehicles, tricycles, e-freight vehicles, e-rickshaws, and electric all-terrain vehicles.

Initially, it will be installed across key locations across Kerala, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Delhi, Gujarat, and Tamil Nadu. Talking about the development, Niraj Rajmohan, co-founder & CTO, Ultraviolette, said, "Ultraviolette's vision is to push the boundaries of electric mobility not only through product innovation, but by helping shape the ecosystem that will power the future of mobility. Our collaboration with Bolt. Earth is an important step in advancing Type-6 Fast Charging infrastructure in India - an interoperable, scalable standard built specifically for the needs of 2W and 3W EVs."
He added, "Ultraviolette vehicles already adopt the Type-6 interface, and this collaboration expands real-world charging access on a nationally recognised standard. As public charging infrastructure evolves, interoperability will be critical to accelerating EV adoption, improving rider confidence, and enabling the next stage of growth for electric mobility in India."
Both the Ultraviolette X-47 Crossover and F77 series motorcycles can be charged from 0 to 80% in approximately 2.5 hours, and from 0 to 100% in around 3.5 hours. In the coming months, Bolt. Earth is also planning to expand charging options for LEVDC-Type 6 compatible two- and three-wheelers. This ensures reliable fast-charging access for riders across both urban and high-density routes.
