TVS Raider 125 Hits Massive 19 Lakh Sales Milestone In Under Five Years
TVS Motor Company has achieved a significant milestone with the TVS Raider 125, which has surpassed 19 lakh units in cumulative sales across domestic and international markets. Launched in 2021, the Raider 125 has quickly become one of the most popular motorcycles in India's highly competitive 125cc commuter segment.
TVS Raider 125 Achieves Huge Sales Milestone
The 125cc motorcycle category remains one of the largest and most important segments in the Indian two-wheeler market, with strong competition from manufacturers such as Hero MotoCorp, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India and TVS.

The Raider 125 has emerged as one of TVS's best-selling motorcycles and currently contributes nearly one-third of the company's total motorcycle sales. In less than five years, the Raider 125 has recorded impressive volumes. Domestic sales account for approximately 16.2 lakh units, while exports have contributed around 2.86 lakh units.
Combined, these figures take total sales beyond the 19 lakh mark, underscoring the motorcycle's strong acceptance both in India and overseas markets. Overall, the Raider 125 represents roughly 31 percent of TVS Motor Company's total motorcycle sales.

The Raider 125 witnessed its strongest sales performance in 2024, further cementing its position as a major success for the brand. Within TVS's portfolio, the TVS Apache range remains the company's highest-selling motorcycle family, with cumulative sales of over 20.7 lakh units and an estimated 38 percent contribution.
TVS Raider 125 Specs
Currently priced at Rs 98,550 (ex-showroom), the TVS Raider 125 is powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivers 8.37 kW of power and 11.75 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, offering a balance of performance and fuel efficiency.

The motorcycle is equipped with telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock suspension setup, along with front disc brakes, 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres and a full LED lighting system.
One of the Raider's biggest strengths is its technology package. Depending on the variant, it offers iGO Assist, a TFT instrument cluster, SmartXonnect connectivity, voice assistance, call management, an ambient light sensor and multiple ride modes. The TVS Raider 125 competes with popular models such as the Honda SP 125, Hero Xtreme 125R and Bajaj Pulsar N125.
