TVS Patents Norton Manx R V4 In India - 1200cc V4 Superbike Incoming!
TVS Motor Company has patented the Norton Manx R V4 superbike in India. This motorcycle is set to become the company's flagship model and will carry a more powerful V4 engine. was showcased at the EICMA 2025 event.
TVS Patents Norton Manx R V4 Superbike
British motorcycle brand Norton Motorcycles, owned by TVS Motor Company, is currently undergoing a revival and is expected to launch in India this year. The Hosur-based manufacturer has now patented the Manx R V4 superbike in India.

This indicates a possible launch of this motorcycle, along with other upcoming models like the Atlas Adventure series. The Atlas motorcycles will be manufactured in India, while the Manx R V4 superbike will be imported from the UK.
This ManX R superbike will be powered by a 1200cc V4 engine that produces a massive 206 hp and 130 Nm of torque. It features a full LED lighting system with DRLs. It is built on an aluminium monocoque frame with a single-sided swingarm. It gets a semi-active Marzocchi suspension setup along with carbon fibre wheels.

For safety, it comes equipped with Brembo brakes, cornering ABS, engine braking control, slip control, rear wheel lift control, and wheelie mitigation control. The motorcycle also features an 8-inch TFT console with smartphone connectivity, riding modes, keyless access, advanced rider electronics, custom track modes, and a bidirectional quickshifter.
Norton Atlas ADV Series
Another motorcycle that was speculated to arrive to the Indian market is the Atlas ADV which has Standard and GT versions. The Atlas adventure will use a 585cc, 270-degree crank, twin-cylinder engine. This motorcycle will be manufactured at the Hosur plant and will be sold in both domestic and international markets. It has been spotted on multiple occasions while testing in India.

This motorcycle will compete in the middleweight adventure segment. It features a tall stance with twin projector LED headlamps, DRLs, and a strong overall design with cornering lights and puddle lamps. It also gets adjustable levers, footpegs, and windscreen to ensure a comfortable riding experience.
Both these models are expected to be launched globally this year, and the Manx R V4 will also have a naked version. TVS will sell these motorcycles through exclusive showrooms across key cities in the country. with this Norton Motorcycles is set to become a key rival to premium brands such as Triumph, Ducati, KTM, Aprilia, and Harley-Davidson.
