Norton Atlas GT Spotted Testing in India: TVS’s Next Big Adventure Move
TVS-owned Norton Motorcycles is set to make its India debut this year with the Atlas ADV, and the brand has now been spotted testing on Indian roads. According to Autocar, the Norton Atlas GT was seen undergoing road tests and is expected to launch in the first half of 2026.
Norton Atlas Adventure Spotted Testing
The Atlas GT is a mid-premium adventure motorcycle and will be powered by a 585cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It will compete with popular models such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure, and the Triumph Scrambler X.

The motorcycle will be sold exclusively through Norton dealerships operated by TVS Motor Company and is expected to be the most affordable Norton motorcycle in India. Since TVS will manufacture the Atlas series at its Hosur plant, pricing is expected to be competitive and more affordable for Indian consumers.
The Atlas GT was showcased at the EICMA 2025 alongside the Norton V4 (Manx). Design highlights include a twin-LED projector headlamp, LED indicators, a windscreen, aerodynamic mirrors, an upswept exhaust, a muscular fuel tank, and a sleek tail section featuring LED tail lamps and fender-mounted indicators.

The motorcycle will be offered in two variants - Atlas and Atlas GT. TVS has also announced plans to open over 200 new Norton dealerships across Europe, America, and India, with a significant number expected in India due to TVS's extensive local dealer network.
Both the Norton Manx and the Atlas series motorcycles are scheduled for launch this year. The Manx series will be manufactured in Norton's UK facility and imported into India via the CBU route. However, the Atlas range will be manufactured in India and exported to global markets.
Additionally, TVS's partnership with BMW Motorrad will see the launch of the upcoming BMW F 450 GS in India. TVS is also developing its own 420cc parallel-twin motorcycle, expected to debut later this year. Overall, 2026 is anticipated to be a big year for TVS, with a lineup of new motorcycles across multiple segments.
