TVS Discontinues iQube S – Here’s Why the 3.5 kWh Variant Is Gone
TVS Motor Company has discontinued the mid-spec iQube S (3.5 kWh) variant in India. This version was earlier positioned between the standard iQube and the top-spec iQube ST, but has now been quietly removed from the lineup.
TVS iQube S Discontinued in India
The iQube S was priced at around ₹1.32 lakh (ex-showroom) and came equipped with a 3.5 kWh battery pack. It offered a claimed range of 145 km and a top speed of 78 km/h, making it a balanced option in the lineup.

However, its positioning overlapped with other variants, which likely led to its discontinuation. With the standard iQube already offering competitive features and pricing, the S variant did not provide a strong enough differentiation for buyers.
Simplified Lineup for Buyers
By removing the iQube S, TVS has effectively streamlined its product range, making it easier for customers to choose between clearly defined variants. The current lineup now includes:
- 2.2 kWh variant - ₹1.15 lakh (ex-showroom) claims a range of 94 km
- 3.1 kWh variant - ₹1.25 lakh (ex-showroom) claims a range of 123 km
- 5.3 kWh variant - ₹1.70 lakh (ex-showroom) claims a range of 212 km
This simplified structure allows buyers to choose based on range requirements and budget, without confusion between closely priced variants.

Features and Highlights
The discontinued iQube S came equipped with several premium features, including a 7-inch TFT display, navigation, Q-Park assist, HMI controller, and a 17.78 cm touchscreen dashboard. It also offered 32 litres of under-seat storage, TVS SmartXonnect connectivity, and a full LED lighting setup. These features continue to be distributed across other variants in the lineup, ensuring that customers still get a feature-rich experience.
Final Take
With strong competition in the electric scooter segment, simplifying the product lineup is a strategic move. By discontinuing the iQube S, TVS aims to reduce overlap and improve clarity for buyers, while focusing on its core variants that offer better value and clearer differentiation.
