TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh Launched At ₹1.37 Lakh - 175km Range

TVS Motor Company has relaunched the iQube S with a 4.7 kWh battery pack, priced at Rs 1,37,142 (ex-showroom, Delhi, inclusive of subsidies). The TVS iQube S had briefly disappeared from TVS's website, with the 3.5 kWh variant appearing discontinued before this updated model arrived.

The full TVS iQube range now spans three tiers: the base iQube (2.2 kWh, 3.1 kWh, and 3.5 kWh), the iQube S (4.7 kWh), and the range-topping iQube ST with a 5.3 kWh battery.

TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh - Powertrain, Battery & Charging

The new TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh claims 175km of IDC range, a significant 30km step up over the 3.5 kWh version it replaces. TVS claims that the new battery pack has been designed for everyday practicality and will enable riders to seamlessly navigate daily commutes as well as longer, unplanned journeys with greater confidence.

Power for the new iQube S 4.7kWh comes from a BLDC hub-mounted motor producing 6bhp and 140Nm, with a 0-40km/h time of 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 82km/h.
The 4.7 kWh pack charges from 0 to 80 percent in around 4 hours, quicker than the base iQube variants offered with 2.2 kWh and 3.1 kWh packs. A reverse mode is also on offer, a practical addition for tight parking situations.

The iQube S rides on a tubular frame with telescopic front suspension and adjustable twin rear shock absorbers. Braking is handled by a 220mm front disc and 130mm rear drum. At 128.8kg, ground clearance stands at 157mm and seat height at 770mm.

The scooter carries a 7-inch TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call alerts, and USB charging. TVS has added two new dual-tone colour options - Magnificence Purple Beige and Harlequin Blue Beige - alongside the existing Titanium Grey Matte.
