TVS Delivers Two iQube Electric Scooters To Vatican City

TVS Motor Company has delivered two units of the iQube electric scooter to Vatican City. The TVS iQube scooters have been supplied for official transportation requirements within the city-state's internal mobility network.

The handover of the two TVS iQubes was completed yesterday for use by Vatican administrative authorities. The electric scooters will handle short-distance movement inside the capital of the Roman Catholic Church, replacing petrol-powered two-wheelers used for routine staff transport and daily operational duties.

The two iQube scooters were delivered as a dedicated fleet consignment, not as retail sales units. The vehicles have been registered and prepared specifically for institutional deployment inside the restricted urban area of the Vatican City.

The supplied models are standard production-spec iQube scooters from TVS Motor's electric two-wheeler portfolio. No market-specific modifications or mechanical changes were made to the iQube as part of this special delivery to the Holy See.

The TVS iQube claims to deliver a range of up to 100km in Eco mode. It features SmartXonnect connectivity, accessed through a TFT instrument display and a companion smartphone application.
The deployment supports the Vatican's transition toward battery-electric mobility solutions for official use. The scooters will operate within the compact road network of the city, where daily commuting distances are limited.

On a post on Facebook, TVS Motor Company stated, "TVS Motor Company has delivered 2 TVS iQube to the Governorate of the Vatican City State. The synergy between TVS Motor Italia and Exelentia defines the path toward increasingly sustainable and responsible mobility.

This moment earlier this week strengthened our commitment to sustainable and responsible mobility. The special initiative marks a further concrete step in the ecological transition process already undertaken by the Governorate of the Vatican City State.

With a shared objective to implement zero-emission mobility solutions designed to meet the daily operational needs of the unique Vatican context, where efficiency, reliability, and respect for both people and the environment represent core values."
