TVS Crosses 10 Lakh EV Sales: iQube & Orbiter Lead The Charge
TVS Motor Company has achieved 10 lakh unit sales with its electric two-wheeler models. The TVS iQube and the TVS Orbiter are the two EV models in the lineup, which have now crossed the 1 million unit sales milestone.
TVS Electric Scooters Crossed 10 Lakh Unit Sales
The TVS iQube is currently one of the leading electric scooters in the Indian market. Introduced in 2020, the family-focused EV scooter has gained strong attention across the country, with many new EV buyers preferring this model over its rivals.

Again in 2025, TVS Motor Company introduced the TVS Orbiter as a budget-focused electric scooter, which is also currently witnessing strong sales in the market. Now, the company has announced that it has surpassed 10 lakh unit sales combined across its electric scooter lineup.
In just the last one and a half years, TVS Motor Company has sold more than 5 lakh EV units. This clearly indicates that the Indian two-wheeler market, especially the scooter segment, is gradually shifting towards electric mobility.

TVS capitalised on this shift much earlier than rivals like Bajaj Auto, Ather Energy, Hero MotoCorp with its Hero Vida, and Ola Electric. The TVS iQube stands tall as one of the most durable, feature-packed, and premium EV scooters, making it an ideal family scooter for daily commutes.
The TVS Orbiter, on the other hand, is a minimalistic and affordable scooter designed for budget-conscious buyers. Both these scooters are offered with a BaaS (Battery as a Service) scheme, which significantly reduces the upfront cost and makes them more accessible to customers.
Rising fuel prices and increasing operational costs have pushed consumers to look at alternatives in the commuter segment. EV scooters are now gaining more attention due to their ease of operation and lower maintenance costs compared to conventional petrol-powered vehicles.
TVS EV Features
The TVS iQube is available in three different variants and offers a maximum claimed range of up to 212 km. It gets smartphone connectivity, large boot space, USB charging, LED lighting, and a TFT console display, making it highly practical for everyday use.

The TVS Orbiter is designed for budget-conscious buyers, but even then it packs several practical features like LED lighting, 34-litre boot space, Bluetooth connectivity, a flat floorboard, comfortable seating, and an appealing aerodynamic design. It offers a maximum claimed range of up to 158 km and is available in two variants.
TVS Electric Scooters Price
TVS Motor Company has priced the TVS iQube at a starting price of Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom), while it is available at Rs 59,999 under the BaaS scheme. The TVS Orbiter starts at Rs 84,500 (ex-showroom) and can be purchased at just Rs 49,999 with the BaaS scheme.
