Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine and Desert Editions Launched - Prices Start At ₹15.35 Lakh
Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the Tiger 900 Alpine Edition and Tiger 900 Desert Edition in the country. The Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition carries a price tag of ₹15.35 lakh, while the Tiger 900 Desert Edition is priced at ₹16.05 lakh, both ex-showroom India
Both motorcycles were previously unveiled globally and now make their India entry as part of a broader Triumph product push that also includes the refreshed Bonneville range and the Street Triple 765 RX.

The Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition commands a ₹95,000 premium over the standard Tiger 900 GT, while the Triumph Tiger 900 Desert Edition is ₹10,000 cheaper than the Rally Pro it is based on, despite receiving added protective equipment and an Akrapovic exhaust as standard fitment.
Triumph Tiger 900 - Engine & Platform
Both editions are built on the Tiger 900 platform and share the same 888cc inline three-cylinder liquid-cooled T-Plane engine. The motor produces 108 hp at 9,500 rpm and 90 Nm of peak torque at 6,850 rpm. Power goes through a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard.
The T-Plane firing order gives the triple a more uneven, characterful exhaust note and stronger low-to-mid-range pull compared with a conventional inline-three layout, making it well-suited to both highway cruising and off-road use.

Tiger 900 Alpine Edition
The Alpine Edition is based on the Tiger 900 GT Pro and is the more road and touring-focused of the two. It comes finished in Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black with Aegean Blue accents. Standard additions include an Akrapovic exhaust and Marzocchi suspension, with the overall package oriented toward long-distance tarmac performance.
Tiger 900 Desert Edition
The Desert Edition draws from the Rally Pro and makes its off-road intent clear from the outset. It is finished in Urban Grey and Sapphire Black with Baja Orange highlights, and comes equipped with Showa long-travel suspension, protection bars and an Akrapovic silencer as standard. The added hardware gives it stronger off-road credentials over the standard Rally Pro.

Triumph Tiger 900 - Features
Both editions carry the full Tiger 900 electronics package, including a TFT instrument cluster, multiple riding modes and a comprehensive rider aids suite. The special editions differentiate themselves through factory-fitted accessories and distinct styling themes rather than any mechanical changes to the underlying platform.
