Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition - The Mechanical Bits
The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition is based on the standard Speed Twin 1200 platform. It uses a 1,200cc Bonneville parallel-twin engine producing 103.5bhp and 112Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine features a 270-degree crank and an 8,000rpm redline, delivering performance consistent with the standard Speed Twin 1200.
The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition retains the hardware setup of the Speed Twin 1200 RS . The one-off motorcycle features a Tubular steel frame with steel cradles suspended off fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchi upside-down forks at the front and twin Öhlins rear shocks.
Braking is handled by twin 320mm front discs with Brembo Stylema callipers at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear clamped by Nissin 2-piston floating callipers. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch cast-aluminium wheels shod with Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres - 120/70 R17 (front) and 160/60 R17 (rear).
Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition - Distinguished Gentleman's Ride
The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition will be awarded through the Gentlefolk prize draw to eligible participants of the 2026 Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. Riders must register and meet fundraising criteria to qualify.
Triumph has been the official motorcycle partner of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride since 2014. In 2025, the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride saw over 127,000 riders across 108 countries, raising $7.6 million for Movember.
Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer, Triumph Motorcycles, said: "This is our 13th year as the official motorcycle partner of The DGR, bringing riders together in style, community, and purpose. Last year's event achieved a remarkable impact, raising an incredible $7.6M USD for Movember, bringing the total raised over the last 15 years of The DGR to $60.37M USD. With our Team Triumph ambassadors encouraging even more Triumph owners around the world to take part, I hope The DGR can achieve even more this year.
For 2026, we wanted to create a motorcycle that is a tribute to the spirit of the DGR community. This one‑off Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition is a celebration of the craft and character of the riders who make The DGR what it is, and this year, every rider who completes the steps to enter the Gentlefolk Competition has an equal chance to win, not just the riders who can raise the most money. That's a really exciting change that I hope will spur even more riders on, to sign up and take part."
Mark Hawwa, Founder and Director of The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, added: "2026 marks a significant milestone for The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride as we celebrate our 15th annual ride. That's 15 years of bringing together a global community united by style, purpose, and a shared commitment to men's health. What began as a small ride has grown into a worldwide movement, with hundreds of thousands of riders coming together to raise vital funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men's mental health.
The impact of DGR speaks to our community's passion and generosity, and it continues to inspire us every year to go further. Triumph Motorcycles' support has been instrumental in that journey. Providing a one-off Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition as an incentive for fundraisers not only celebrates the spirit of our riders, but also encourages participation from across the entire community, reminding everyone that every effort counts, and anyone can make a meaningful difference."
