Triumph Motorcycles Announces Special New Year Offer For Speed 400 & T4
Triumph Motorcycles has recently announced a New Year special offer for its Speed 400 and T4 motorcycles. The brand is now offering complimentary accessories worth 11,500 for a limited period. Previously, KTM had also rolled out a similar offer for its 390 Adventure range, which included an extended warranty.
Both KTM and Triumph Motorcycles are backed by Bajaj Auto in India. These brands operate and manufacture their motorcycles with the support of the Indian auto giant, and these offers are technically part of Bajaj's initiatives.

The British motorcycle entered the mid-level motorcycle segment with its new 400cc range. This lineup includes the Speed T4, Speed 400, Scrambler 400X, Scrambler 400XC, and the Thruxton 400. All these motorcycles compete in the highly competitive 300cc to 500cc segment, dominated by Royal Enfield.
Triumph Motorcycles Complimentary offers
Triumph's entry-level models, such as the Speed T4 and Speed 400, benefit from this announcement, as the brand is offering complimentary accessories with these motorcycles.
The accessories include a tank pad, windscreen, knee pads, lower engine bars, and a backrest. These additions enhance the overall riding experience by improving comfort and convenience. However, unlike KTM, Triumph Motorcycles is not offering an extended warranty with this scheme.

The Speed 400 and the Speed T4 are both entry-level models from the brand. Both are powered by the same 398cc, single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine that produces 39 bhp of power and 37 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Additionally, both motorcycles come equipped with dual-channel ABS, a slipper-assist clutch, LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 10,000-mile (16,000 km) service interval, and a two-year unlimited mileage warranty. The Speed T4 is priced at 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Speed 400 is sold at 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto, Triumph, and KTM are reportedly planning to introduce sub-350cc models to reduce the impact of the new GST 2.0 tax structure. Under this taxation policy, motorcycles with engine capacities above 350cc will have a higher GST rate of up to 40%, whereas models below this are taxed at 18% instead of 28%.
