Triumph Bonneville 350 Spotted Testing - Big Rival To Classic 350

Triumph Motorcycles is expected to bring the Triumph Bonneville 350 to the Indian market this year. This iconic modern-classic motorcycle is likely to debut soon, as it has been spotted multiple times during testing.

Triumph Bonneville 350 to Launch Soon?

The British brand operates in India in partnership with Bajaj Auto. Together, they currently sell models like the Triumph Speed 400, Triumph Scrambler 400X, and Triumph Thruxton 400, all of which have been well received by customers.

For several months, there has been speculation about Triumph introducing a smaller version of its popular Bonneville series. These rumours have gained strength after the motorcycle was spotted testing on multiple occasions across different locations.

We expect the model to launch in India within the next few months. The bike is likely to retain the signature Bonneville design, featuring a classic stance and familiar styling elements. It is expected to rival models like the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and the Royal Enfield Classic 350.

Big Expectations

Design highlights may include a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round LED headlamp, single-piece flat bench seat, a single-pod instrument cluster, and signature Bonneville elements such as the handlebar, grab rail, and fenders. The motorcycle is also expected to feature telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, along with a pea-shooter exhaust, spoke wheels, and tubeless tyres.

In terms of performance, the Bonneville 350 could be powered by a new 349cc engine instead of a 399cc unit, potentially to align with GST regulations and keep pricing competitive. Recently, Triumph updated its 400cc lineup with revised engines while maintaining similar performance figures.

Launching the Bonneville 350 in India makes strong business sense, as the retro-classic segment continues to see strong demand. A more affordable Bonneville could attract a wider audience and replicate the success achieved by Triumph's 400cc lineup. By keeping the engine capacity under 350cc, Triumph can price the motorcycle more competitively, making it more affordable and better positioned to challenge Royal Enfield's long-standing dominance.
