Triumph 400 Bikes May Get Costlier From June 2026 In India

Triumph Motorcycles is expected to increase prices of its motorcycles in India starting from June 1, 2026. The upcoming price revision is likely to affect the brand's new 350cc lineup, with prices expected to increase by up to Rs 10,000 depending on the model.

Triumph 400 Range May Get Price Hike From June 2026

The UK-based motorcycle brand currently operates in India through its partnership with Bajaj Auto. Recently, Triumph updated its 400cc motorcycle range with revised sub-350cc engines in order to benefit from the lower 18 percent GST slab applicable to motorcycles below 350cc.

Despite the reduction in engine displacement, Triumph has retained the "400" branding across the lineup. The current range includes the Triumph Speed T4, Triumph Speed 400, Triumph Scrambler 400 X, Triumph Scrambler 400 XC, Triumph Thruxton 400, and the newly launched Triumph Tracker 400.

Following the engine revision, most motorcycles in the lineup - except the Speed T4 - received price reductions of up to Rs 11,000. However, reports now suggest that Triumph could reverse part of those cuts with a fresh price increase from June 2026 onwards.

If implemented, the revised pricing may bring some models close to their earlier price levels before the engine downsizing update. Although Triumph Motorcycles has not officially confirmed the price hike, dealers are reportedly expecting an announcement in the coming weeks.

Drive Spark has also contacted a Triumph dealership in Salem, Tamil Nadu, where representatives confirmed that they are anticipating a price hike from June 2026. Dealership officials have advised interested customers to complete bookings before June in order to benefit from the current pricing.

The updated 350cc range continues to produce class-leading performance figures, generating 37 PS of power and 32 Nm of torque from a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. They are also one of the best rider friendly and premium motorcycles in the 350cc segment.

Currently, the Triumph Speed T4 is priced at Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Triumph Speed 400 starts at Rs 2.31 lakh. The Triumph Tracker 400 is priced at Rs 2.46 lakh, the Triumph Thruxton 400 at Rs 2.65 lakh, the Triumph Scrambler 400 X at Rs 2.59 lakh, and the Triumph Scrambler 400 XC at Rs 2.89 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
