Triumph 400 Bikes Get Costlier From Today: Check New Prices

Triumph Motorcycles has increased the prices of its 400cc motorcycle lineup in India with effect from June 1, 2026. However, the recently launched Tracker 400 and Scrambler 400 X have not received any price revision for now.

Triumph 400 Range Gets Costlier

The British motorcycle brand sells its entry-level motorcycles in India through its partnership with Bajaj Auto. The current lineup includes the Speed T4, Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, Scrambler 400 XC, Thruxton 400, and the recently introduced Tracker 400.

All these motorcycles are powered by a 349cc single-cylinder engine that replaced the earlier 399cc unit. The downsizing was carried out to align with the new GST 2.0 regulations and taxation benefits while maintaining similar performance characteristics.

The revised taxation structure helped lower the overall tax burden on these motorcycles, resulting in reduced prices for customers. However, Triumph has now increased the prices of several models, bringing them closer to their pre-revision levels.

Updated Prices

Motorcycle

Old Price (ex-showroom)

New Price (ex-showroom)

Speed T4 1,95,000 Lakh 1,99,139 Lakh
Speed 400 2,31,890 Lakh 2,34,140 Lakh
Thruxton 400 2,65,538 Lakh 2,69,598 Lakh
Scrambler 400 XC 2,89,534 Lakh 2,93,596 Lakh
Tracker 400 2,46,225 Lakh 2,46,225 Lakh

The Speed T4, which was earlier priced at Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom), now costs Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), reflecting a price increase of over Rs 4,000. Similarly, the Speed 400 has become more expensive and is now priced at Rs 2.34 lakh (ex-showroom), compared to its earlier price of Rs 2.31 lakh (ex-showroom).

The café-racer-inspired Thruxton 400 has also received a price hike. The motorcycle, which was previously available at Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom), is now priced at Rs 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The flagship Scrambler 400 XC has also become costlier. Earlier priced at Rs 2.89 lakh (ex-showroom), it now carries a higher price tag of Rs 2.93 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tracker 400 And Scrambler 400 X Unchanged

Triumph 400

Despite the latest revision, Triumph has not increased the prices of the recently launched Tracker 400 and Scrambler 400 X. The Tracker 400 continues to be priced at Rs 2.46 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Scrambler 400 X remains available at Rs 2.59 lakh (ex-showroom).

These motorcycles continue to benefit from the taxation changes introduced earlier, which significantly improved affordability for buyers in the premium entry-level motorcycle segment.

Why The Price Hike?

Triumph 400

The latest price increase is likely linked to rising input costs, raw material expenses, and overall manufacturing costs. Many manufacturers across the automotive industry have been revising prices in recent months due to increasing production expenses and supply chain-related disruptions.

Despite the latest revision, Triumph's 400cc motorcycles continue to offer strong value in the premium entry-level segment. The Tracker 400 and Scrambler 400 X remain unaffected by the latest price hike, providing customers with additional options at their existing price points.
