Top 10 Bestselling Motorcycles May 2026: Splendor, Shine, Pulsar Lead India's Sales Charts

India's motorcycle market closed May 2026 with the top 10 models together selling 9,02,658 units, a 1.94 per cent increase over the 8,85,467 units recorded in May 2025. The segment added 17,191 units year-on-year, with commuter motorcycles continuing to dominate volumes even as premium 350cc models posted healthy gains.

Motorcycles continued to dominate India's two-wheeler market despite the steady rise of scooters. Total motorcycle sales stood at 11,13,973 units in May 2026, making up 58.56 per cent of overall two-wheeler volumes and growing 7.20 per cent over the corresponding month last year.

Among the top best-selling motorcycles of May 2026, the Hero Splendor and the Honda Shine held on to the top two spots and together accounted for over 55 per cent of all units sold in this list, while Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Bullet 350 climbed the rankings on the back of strong volume growth in the premium segment. Let's take a look at the Top 10 Bestselling Motorcycles of May 2026...

1. Hero Splendor - 3,48,115 units

The Hero Splendor remained India's best-selling motorcycle(and two-wheeler) with 3,48,115 units sold in May 2026, up 12.17 per cent from 3,10,335 units in May 2025. The model added 37,780 units year-on-year and held a 38.57 per cent share.

2. Honda Shine - 1,55,441 units

The Honda Shine retained second position with 1,55,441 units, registering a 1.79 per cent decline from 1,58,271 units sold a year earlier. The motorcycle held a 17.22 per cent share of total sales.

3. Bajaj Pulsar - 1,24,270 units

The Bajaj Pulsar lineup held on to third place with 1,24,270 units sold last month , up 1.73 per cent from 1,22,151 units a year ago. The Pulsar range accounted for 13.77 per cent of total motorcycle sales.

4. Hero HF Deluxe - 66,722 units

The Hero HF Deluxe posted the steepest decline on the list, with sales dropping 38.09 per cent to 66,722 units from 1,07,768 units in May 2025. The motorcycle held a 7.39 per cent share.

5. TVS Apache - 53,900 units

The TVS Apache lineup recorded 53,900 units in May 2026, registering a 9.78 per cent growth over 49,099 units sold in the same month last year. The Apache range contributed a 5.97 per cent share of the sales by the top motorcycles sold last month.

6. Honda CB Unicorn - 34,925 units

The Honda CB Unicorn surged 22.05 per cent to 34,925 units from 28,616 units in May 2025, the highest growth rate among the top six motorcycles on the list.

7. TVS Raider - 34,852 units

The TVS Raider was one of only three motorcycles in the top 10 to post a year-on-year decline. Sales dropped 1.55 per cent to 34,852 units from 35,401 units in May 2025.

8. Royal Enfield Classic 350 - 34,594 units

Royal Enfield Classic 350 grew 20.84 per cent to 34,594 units, up from 28,628 units sold a year earlier, underlining sustained demand for the brand's 350cc range.

9. Bajaj Platina - 26,467 units

Bajaj Platina rounded off the bottom half with 26,467 units, down 5.20 per cent from 27,919 units sold in May 2025.

10. Royal Enfield Bullet 350 - 23,372 units

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 was the fastest-growing motorcycle in the top 10, climbing 35.26 per cent to 23,372 units from the 17,279 units sold during the same month last year.
