2026 Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition Launched At Rs 19.90 Lakh

The Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition has been launched in India at Rs 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition sits at the top of the Hayabusa line-up, Rs 91,000 above the standard model.

The standard Hayabusa has been refreshed with three new colours and now costs Rs 93,000 more at Rs 18.99 lakh. Both versions of the Suzuki Hayabusa get a lighter battery and revised electronic rider aids, and the updated bikes are already available at Suzuki showrooms across the country.

The Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition on sale in India is the 2026 version. A 2027 Special Edition has been introduced globally in Pearl Brilliant White with grey highlights, and it is not yet available in India.

What's Changed On The 2026 Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition

The Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition is offered in a single Pearl Vigor Blue shade. It gets special decals and a different wheel finish, along with a 3D Suzuki emblem and a special edition badge on the fuel tank. The muffler end and heat guards are anodised.

A single-seat cowl, otherwise an accessory, is fitted as standard on the Special Edition. Nothing changes mechanically, and the Rs 91,000 premium over the standard model covers only these cosmetic additions.

Both versions of the Suzuki Hayabusa now use an ELIIY Power lithium-ion battery, which Suzuki says is lighter and more compact and holds a steadier voltage under load. The launch control and power mode selector settings have been revised. Smart cruise control now stays active through gear shifts, so riders can hold a set speed without keeping the throttle open.

The standard Hayabusa is now available in Candy Daring Red with Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Galaxy Gray with Candy Burnt Gold, and Pearl Vigor Blue with Pearl Brilliant White.

2026 Suzuki Hayabusa: Engine, Hardware And Features

Neither the standard model nor the Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition sports any change to the 1,340cc, liquid-cooled inline-four engine, which makes 190bhp and 142Nm and comes paired to a six-speed gearbox.

The Hayabusa continues with its twin-spar aluminium frame and sports adjustable KYB USD front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking duties are carried out by twin 320mm full-floating front discs with four-piston Brembo Stylema calipers at the front and a single 260 mm disc paired with a 1-piston Nissin caliper at the rear. The Hayabusa rides on 17-inch alloys shod with Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres.

Seat height is 800mm and the kerb weight is 266kg. Riders get six riding modes, three preset and three customisable, along with cornering ABS, launch control, traction control, cruise control, and hill-hold and hill-descent control.
