Suzuki Burgman Scooter Achieves Record Sales In India
Suzuki is one of the leading players in India's scooter segment, with models such as the Suzuki Access 125 and Burgman Street 125 consistently ranking among the brand's best-selling products.

While the Access 125 has built a strong reputation in the family-oriented scooter segment, the Burgman Street earned a unique identity in the maxi-scooter category. Its distinctive styling, premium positioning and comfortable riding ergonomics have helped it become one of the most successful products in its segment.
Launched in July 2018, the Burgman Street initially attracted attention for its unconventional design and urban-focused appeal. Over the years, however, the scooter has gained widespread popularity, especially among younger riders who appreciate its sporty appearance and practical features.
Strong Sales

The Burgman Street also emerged as one of the pioneers of the maxi-scooter segment in India and has grown to become the second best-selling model in Suzuki's scooter lineup. Since launch, Suzuki has sold a total of 14.1 lakh units of the Burgman Street, of which around 2.5 lakh units have been exported to various international markets.
Although the Access 125 remains Suzuki's highest-volume product, the Burgman Street has played a significant role in helping the company expand its market share in India. Suzuki recently updated the scooter with a refreshed design and several new features to further strengthen its appeal.
FY2026 has been the strongest year yet for the Burgman Street 125, with record sales of 2.87 lakh units. This impressive performance has helped it secure a place among the top 10 best-selling scooters in India.
