Suzuki Burgman 150 Revealed With 14-Inch Wheels, Dual-Channel ABS, And Traction Control

Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki has unveiled the Burgman 150 in Colombia, marking a significant step up from the Burgman Street 125. The scooter is sold as the Suzuki Burman 15 in Colombia.

The new Suzuki Burgman 150 brings a sharper design, a more feature-rich package, and hardware which helps it step decisively beyond the Street 125, a model that has found over 1.1 million buyers in India since its 2018 debut.

Suzuki Burgman 150 - Design & Features

The Suzuki Burgman 150 adopts a larger, more imposing front apron that combines projector LED headlights, DRLs, and integrated turn indicators. A central spine runs the length of the body, flanked by sloping and flat footrest provisions - a layout typical of full-sized maxi scooters.

On the features front, the scooter gets a full-colour TFT instrument display with smartphone connectivity and keyless ignition, both carried over from the 2026 Burgman Street 125. An 18-watt USB-C charging port sits inside the covered left-side glove compartment, alongside 25 litres of underseat storage.

Suzuki Burgman 150 - Engine & Hardware

Power for the Burgman 150 comes from a 149cc air-cooled engine producing 14.2 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 14.2 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm, which is paired with a CVT gearbox. An idle stop-start function is included to aid fuel efficiency.

Suspension consists of telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers, with 14-inch alloy wheels at both ends. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both ends, aided by dual-channel ABS. The Burgman 150 also gets traction control.

Seat height is 760 mm, and kerb weight stands at 145 kg. The Burgman 150 sports an 8-litre fuel tank and offers 25 litres of underseat storage with a USB-C charging port integrated into the compartment. An 18-watt USB-C charging port sits inside the covered left-side glove compartment

Suzuki Burgman 150 - India Launch Prospects

An India launch for the Suzuki Burgman 150 remains unlikely for now, though the scooter would slot in as a natural rival to the Hero Xoom 160, TVS Ntorq 150, and Yamaha Aerox 155. If priced competitively, it could build on the goodwill the Burgman Street 125 has earned in the market. Separately, Suzuki is understood to be evaluating a single-channel ABS variant for the Burgman Street 125 in the second half of 2026.
