Steelbird FEC-3 Helmet Launched At Rs 4,499 - DOT, ECE 22.06 And BIS Certified

Helmet manufacturer Steelbird Hi-Tech India has launched the Steelbird FEC-3 helmet in India at a starting price of Rs 4,499, timed for the Diwali festive season. The Steelbird FEC-3 helmet is available in three sizes: Medium (580 mm), Large (600 mm) and XL (620 mm).

Steelbird FEC-3: Safety Certifications and Visor

The Steelbird FEC-3 carries triple homologation under DOT (FMVSS No. 218), BIS (IS 4151:2015) and ECE 22.06 standards. The shell is a high-impact PC-ABS blend, and the visor gets a Pinlock 30 anti-fog lens.

The PC-ABS shell is engineered to meet the requirements of the DOT and ECE 22.06 standards. The styling of the Steelbird FEC-3 is sporty and aggressive and it features an aerodynamic profile. The visor is polycarbonate unit with an anti-scratch coating and a Pinlock 30 anti-fog lens. An integrated inner sun shield, operated through a slider mechanism, lets riders adjust to changing light.

The Steelbird FEC-3 gets a Double D-Ring fastening system, wind deflector, nose protector, visor locking system and a quick-release visor mechanism. Sporty graphics complete the design.
