Simple Energy EV Sales Boom – 128% Growth In March 2026
Bengaluru-based EV two-wheeler startup Simple Energy has recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in March 2026, with a total of 1,744 units sold in India (excluding Telangana). Simple one is one of the key startup companies which is part of the EV revolution in India.

The company achieved a significant milestone in the final month of the financial year 2025-26, registering a 128.25% growth compared to February 2026. It also maintained its position among the top 10 EV manufacturers in India, currently ranking 9th.
The Indian EV two-wheeler segment continues to be led by TVS, Bajaj, and Ather Energy, with Simple Energy closely following players like BGauss Auto. The brand currently offers three electric scooters-Simple One, Simple One S, and the upcoming Simple Ultra.
The Simple One S is the most affordable model in the lineup, priced at ₹1.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It offers a claimed range of 190 km and a top speed of 90 km/h. The Simple One is priced at ₹1.77 lakh (ex-showroom) and delivers a claimed range of 265 km, along with a top speed of 115 km/h. The Simple Ultra is an upcoming model that is yet to be launched in the market.
The EV two-wheeler segment is growing rapidly in India, with increasing penetration in the overall scooter market. Simple Energy positions itself as a premium EV brand, competing with models such as the Ola S1 Pro+, Ather 450X, and TVS X.
